“A gentle reminder”
Hi there, friend.
Thank you for taking that courageous step towards self-care and self-love, and for reach out for support when it feels tough. Your presence truly matters, and whatever you’re going through, know that we’re in this together.
Allow me to introduce myself.
My name is Susan Tang, a Registered Social Worker from in Ontario, Canada. I began my journey in my early teens, where I’ve learned how to reconcile with my own mental health alongside my culture as a woman with Vietnamese-Chinese heritage. It was challenging to say the least, and I couldn’t have done it without the support of my own social worker at that age. I guess you can say that’s where my motivation to become a social worker stemmed from.
A glimpse into my practice.
I started my social work journey, supporting others with their mental health in community- and hospital-settings alike. I have experience supporting those with mood-related challenges that can include but is not limited to anxiety, depression, grief and so forth, on top of complex or acute trauma, and relational and/or cultural concerns.
